Irene Michaels

Irene Michaels is an award-winning singer, songwriter, and musician who has built a vibrant career in the music industry. She continues to release new music, having launched two EPs under Trax Records in 2022, followed by an original EP in 2023.

The music world took notice of Irene’s exceptional talent, recognizing the value of her work. Her first original song, ” I Like Rain,” earned her a Josie Award in 2023 for Pop Single Song of the Year, along with a Get Out Award for House Music Artist of the Year.

In April 2024, Irene released her new EP titled “I Am Golden.” This collection features energetic tracks such as “I Got My I On You,” “ My Last Love,” “ Party on Lake Shore Drive” and “I Am Golden,” all infused with themes of romance and heartfelt poetry.

Building on the success of “My Last Love,” she introduced a new dance mix titled “ My Last Love Dance Mix,” created by Eric Kupper. This mix includes three versions of Irene’s single: an Extended Vocal Mix, a Dub Mix, and a Radio Mix. The song was also nominated for a 2024 award from the Hollywood Independent Music Awards.

Following the dance mix, Irene debuted her emotive radio edit single ” My Heart,” along with an EDM mix produced in collaboration with DJ Joe Smooth on Tribeca Records. This catchy and distinctive track quickly gained attention after being played on Chicago’s dance radio station, Dance Factory, and its popularity continued to grow. Following the original release, Irene joined forces with recording artist  Twizm Whyte Piece, to create an electifying hip-hop version of “My Heart. In fact, the huge success of this collaboration just won the Josie Award for Song of the Year: Hip Hop!

Irene kicked off the 2025 holiday season with a brand new release. ” Younger” is more than a song — it is a declaration. Written by acclaimed composer Michael A. Levine, the track captures the essence of Irene Michaels’ extraordinary journey: a life defined not by age, but by evolution.
